Fine pick, interesting both he and Harris took 113 wickets in 27 tests at a very similar average.I can think of a couple that meet the criteria with Bruve Reid being the best.
Bruce Reid
Make sure you have a decent 5th bowler cause your work horse will miss a lot of games here and there.
That's true NUFAN but that's not a reason to think Barnes, Faulkner, O'Reilly, Smith, Root, Pollock or Philander will miss many tests due to injury! There is a reason that these guys played few number of tests and that reason is not injury.@kingkallis re your comment about Harris..
You do realize eceryone picked so far played the same number of Tests!!
Still dumb to pick Yasir for 670-680 points when you can get Qadir/Macgill for barely 60 points more.
Good explanation, I'll look him up!George Ulyett - The original Malinga... Batting Average of 24 and a bowling average of 20 and an actual round arm fast bowler... Only too glad to take him as my first pick.
Both excellent choices. I was tempted to pick Adcock myself much earlier on, surprised he was 15th picked. Genuine fast bowler who carried SA's attack at that time.Lets start it off with a couple of Saffers. Neil Adcock and Eddie Barlow. Always keep forgetting about Barlow... averaged 45 and 34...
