Reading Jonathan Norman's tweets and it seems like Henriques has come off better than Burns

Worrying scenes at Arundel where play has been suspended after a collision in the field by Henriques and Burns.

Jonathan Norman ‏@FulhamJon 16m16 minutes ago South East, England
The two fielders went for a skied chance. Collided & appeared to clash heads. Burns remained still. Henriques unstable & concussed.

Henriques seems to have suffered knock to his face. He's moving more than Burns who is under a blanket and being prevented from moving.

Players still being treated on the field. Henriques possible facial injury. Head or neck to Burns. Third ambulance arrives.

I imagine Burns is in a neck brace, rather than the kinda morbid image painted. at least i hope so

Faulkner and Jarvis bowling to Umar Akmal and Cosgrove. Only in county cricket.

Nice to see Notts are finally developing some homegrown bowlers. Jake Ball has meant to come on a load over the winter and his pace has gone from ~79/80mph to ~85mph. Luke Wood has come through the England u19s and swings the new ball and good punchy lower order bat. Matt Carter, brother of Andy, debuting today is meant to be a decent prospect as an offspinner also. Good to see.
Not a bad start.

Anyone witnessed much of Aaron Lilley at Lancs, hit a couple of 50's for us this season, quickfire one today. Taking wickets too, admittedly against Leics today, and his 5fer in the last game was on the Southport pitch. Still though, seeing a young offspinner take wickets and hit runs seems promising. Whether he can displace Kerrigan as our first choice spinner is probably his first concern. Might spell the end for Parry at Lancs though.

Somerset need 42 with five wickets remaining chasing just over 400. What a win it would be, especially given Hildrith and Cooper only contributed 4 combined. My dig the other day clearly worked.

Edit: Allenby out as I type. I'm going to shut up and pray now.

somerset lucky they weren't set 425 or more, given the rule that prevents teams from chasing 425 or more in the fourth innings and all

I see the Worcester attack are off to a flyer again. Doing it week in week out, shame the batting is so crap and means it pointless.

Just the 4 former Shropshire players in the side this week.

They've competed in first innings of games generally and fallen away after. Batting is poor but bowling lacks the depth. Morris bowled 11 over first spells in both innings of one game earlier in the season and he really puts some effort into his bowling - but looks burnt out now and down 5mph on what he was at the start of the season. The re-signing of Ajmal seems to have been done on sentiment rather than any proof that's he gonna be any good. Senanayake was a waste of time in the first half of the season. Andrew broke down after 3 games just like last year and they have no-one in the seconds bowling well so Leach, Morris and Shantry are left having to play every game and flog their guts out.

I am very fond of how we are continuing to bowl sides out cheaply without anyone appearing to take many wickets. Tasteful.

Season going well so far. Josh Poysden has flashed some serious potential as a leggy, he gives it a rip which gets a lot of drift. Think our batting will let us down though.

Caught a bit of the repeat of that game yesterday. Certainly getting plenty of drift even if didn't seem like he was turning it much.

Nice to see a spinner doing well. Not much reason for positivety so far this season from english spinners. Think we've seen with Riley's poor form so far this season why he didn't go to the West Indies. Would have been a big risk to go with someone so inexperienced as the main spinner.

Batty is giving Ansari a good load of overs so far this season at Surrey but otherwise there hasn't been a whole lot of spin bowling. Matt Carter with 10 wickets on debut then dropped the next week kind of sums up the limited opportunities for spin bowlers.

Somerset on the brink of a win, Essex wobbling in pursuit of 114. And Derby chasing an unlikely 348 against Surrey. Not since 1985 have they made more than 300 to win.

Cook out first ball today.

Just seen a few test players knocking around the scorecards, good stuff.

Broad remove both openers in his first spell without the assistance of a fielder - good sign for his new ball length

It's a good job this Yorks batting lineup is never at full strength, we'd never fit them all in
