***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Just reading about Panesar. Seems an even poorer decision to get rid of Tom Craddock in those circumstances.
I was in Essex last summer and heard Craddock simply wasn't bowling well enough to earn another contract.

As always, great to see Jarvis taking wickets. He is easily the best Zimbabwean bowler since Streak and it is good he has now settled down into county cricket after a rough start.

Waited all season to be able say how great James Vince is again, should have saved that one for a Sky game.

Any Lancs folks have a scare when they saw S Mahmood bowling for us yesterday?

Seems to me that Wayne Parnell has found his level though. Fits in perfectly as a Div 2 county trundler.

EDIT: And Cosker, amazingly, looks a limited overs specialist spinner who actually does less with the ball than Tredwell. I mean, he seems a serviceable white ball bowler, but he's just, well, nondescript.

Oh, they never actually got back on. That makes sense. The way the cricinfo scorecard presented it, it looked as if the rain delay had come in the innings break, which would have made that D/L calculation insane.

Bates playing for Somerset v Notts tomorrow btw. Not quite Buttler, but he probably can't get less runs than Barrow.

Faulkner and Jarvis bowling to Umar Akmal and Cosgrove. Only in county cricket.

Nice to see Notts are finally developing some homegrown bowlers. Jake Ball has meant to come on a load over the winter and his pace has gone from ~79/80mph to ~85mph. Luke Wood has come through the England u19s and swings the new ball and good punchy lower order bat. Matt Carter, brother of Andy, debuting today is meant to be a decent prospect as an offspinner also. Good to see.

Sounds like a nasty mid-field collision between Burns and Henriques at Arundel in Sussex v Surrey game. Ambulance on the field
