Well, that wicket came out of nowhere. We've looked a bit innocuous with the new ball this evening. Still England's day though imo, from 30/4 you'd probably take a score of 250, yet they're at 350 and still have three wickets left.

Yeah you can't much argue with 350 in a day IMO.

NZ have to bowl England out within half an hour to get back on top, which thy might well do

Yeah, good thing that wicket fell but more damage limitation than anything else. I suspect England will be more than happy.

Patchy bowling performance though Henry perhaps deserved one more. Well done to England, scoring at 4 an over is a particularly positive outcome though no doubt aided a bit by BMac's attack-at-all-times mentality.

Yeah not often you see the opening pair waste it so badly. Henry had a decent case for being given the new cherry immediately.

Can't argue with the day, especially how it went chronologically. Another 50 runs would be ideal, however it is a good pitch and don't see it massively changing so NZ shouldn't be stressed,

Got a very good nut. One of the few to go today who didn't get out to a crap shot.

Anyway, great recovery and our day after being put in and struggling early on. Shouldn't put a side in and see them score over 350 in a day. NZ let us off the hook, hope they bat as badly tomorrow.
