Typical Ishant Sharma like spell from Anderson today. Concedes a **** ton of runs but has 3 wickets to keep his average down.

There's a fair argument that NZ don't deserve to go to the final after that fielding and bowling performance. Taking nothing away from AB & Miller, who were brilliant, but we fed them so much ****, particularly Miller.

Fortunately, both teams get a chance to bat, but I can't see SA letting us off with half-chances and that kind of garbage at the death, but who knows.
Nah, none of the bowlers from any of the team have been put on this much pressure. 5 overs just to stop going for boundaries in a small ground with the like of Miller and AB on the crease, Miller was still fantastic though. Apart from the likes of Starc, I don't think any bowler would have bowled brilliantly in that situation.

the D/L system is crap. how about this SA got 43 overs 280. NZ gets 43 overs to get 280. Where the F*** they get 298 from ???

Sorry, but there's no escaping the fact we were extremely poor in those death overs, regardless of whether it would have been challenging for other bowlers going around or not.

We may have appeared to bowl poorly at times but a lot of it was due to excellent batting. I can't be too unhappy with a lot of that bowling.

As for the missed catches and runout, all difficult but yes I would usually expect us to take one or two of those. It's happened though, so now to go out and score some big runs.
The bowling was below par, that's for sure. The batting was excellent and had a hand in causing the bowling to be ordinary BUT we didn't make things easy for ourselves by bowling the wrong lines and lengths. We fed Miller's strong zone.
