298 in 43.

6.9 RPO.

FWIW I do feel chasing a higher RR in more overs would be easier.

The 2 new balls means the first ~20 overs are extremely hard to score off, but after that it's pretty easy. And this is regardless how many This pitch is flat, and you'll have that 5 over batting powerplay with an easy to whack ball instead of only what, only 3 overs now?

365 in 50 easier than 298 in 43 IMO.

So here's that familiar feeling. Couldn't NZ have played like crap in pool play and saved its fans from the agony of hope?

How easy will it be for the NZ batsmen to get up for this after such a disappointing performance in the field?

SA to win this from here 2/3 times I would say. NZ still in it of course. All depends on how the top four perform, especially Williamson Mccullum and Taylor.

The wheels have completely fallen off NZ. Nathan Mac, how could you not get that?! The number of wides we've conceded.

I was so worried about not getting a decent challenge in the Pool stage and we're paying the price. Without taking anything away from SA that was a ****e bowling performance. You can't win the WC after dropping catches like that.
We may have appeared to bowl poorly at times but a lot of it was due to excellent batting. I can't be too unhappy with a lot of that bowling.

As for the missed catches and runout, all difficult but yes I would usually expect us to take one or two of those. It's happened though, so now to go out and score some big runs.

There's a fair argument that NZ don't deserve to go to the final after that fielding and bowling performance. Taking nothing away from AB & Miller, who were brilliant, but we fed them so much ****, particularly Miller.

Fortunately, both teams get a chance to bat, but I can't see SA letting us off with half-chances and that kind of garbage at the death, but who knows.
yeah this. Been a crappy fielding performance. SA have played better without a doubt.

Damn why? Did he have a bad game? I rate him pretty highly.
Well its only my opinion, but I thought he bowled pretty well against Lanka, took a wicket and produced some half chances. He did pretty well in the group stages as well.

For what its worth I don't think his batting is that bad, while Vern's ODI batting is nowhere good enough to squeeze him in..
