nah he has to go go go. it's the entire reason he's up there. if he comes off like he has numerous times this world cup it makes life so much easier.
Yeah McCullum is the exception to the keep-wickets-in-hand thing I posted earlier - he has to go hard from the start (as always) if we're to have any chance.

****ing Christ. Did New Zealand go out on the piss last night, five dropped catches. You talk about choking, nothing would too that fielding performance.

Yeah BMac's gotta play the way he normally plays, 40-50 quickfire runs and suddenly it becomes close to a run a ball and the rest of the team should back themselves to do it. Still a massive ask though. Anyways I'm off to sleep.

In SA's point of view, they really needed that Miller blitz - the D/L adjusted target would've looked really bad for them otherwise.

There's a fair argument that NZ don't deserve to go to the final after that fielding and bowling performance. Taking nothing away from AB & Miller, who were brilliant, but we fed them so much ****, particularly Miller.

Fortunately, both teams get a chance to bat, but I can't see SA letting us off with half-chances and that kind of garbage at the death, but who knows.

am off to bed now. Rain did dampen the match a fair bit.

Baz will be key for NZ. If he goes cheaply then NZ will befin to doubt themselves.
