I predict 210. SL's chase will get to something like 130/4 and the remainder will be nerve wracking.I'm predicting we set a target of 261.
Yeah I'll be loading up.
I suspected you meant Dougeh since Brownlie wasn't in this team
Wow, if you're honestly thinking that way, you'd want to be getting some lazy dollars on SL with those odds wouldn't you?Think we need at less 350
If I had some lazy dollars, yeah. Had a few bachelor parties over the last month. Cutting into my clothing fund tbh.Wow, if you're honestly thinking that way, you'd want to be getting some lazy dollars on SL with those odds wouldn't you?
Best ever moveIf I had some lazy dollars, yeah. Had a few bachelor parties over the last month. Cutting into my clothing fund tbh.
350 runs or a 350 lead? This same seam attack defended 350 easily on a Colombo highway. There is still enough in the pitch to keep the seamers interested, and Sanga isn't going to play an ATG innings every time. Throw in the fact that us reaching 350 would involve the bowlers enjoying nearly 2 full days of rest, and a tired SRL top order, and I would be veeeery confident of us winning (or at least not losing).Think we need at less 350
Worth a quiet 50 at least. Last time I said something was a sure thing was also at the Basin, just under 12 months ago against India. Think they were paying $1.80 and I said that's the most absurdly easy cash I've ever seen.
Always a good way for a passionate sports fan to hedge their bets, your team loses, but you win some cash & vice-versa.Worth a quiet 50 at least. Please note cricket gods, this is me saying it again.
So far I've got coin on NZ at $3.2 and then again at about $5.50, Coin on Sri Lanka at $4.80 and coin on the draw at $3.70.Always a good way for a passionate sports fan to hedge their bets, your team loses, but you win some cash & vice-versa.
Although trust me when I say the worst money I ever received was at the back of the All Blacks' exit of the 2007 WC. Almost felt like burning it.
You're still up on any of those results? So far I've got coin on NZ at $3.2 and then again at about $5.50, Coin on Sri Lanka at $4.80 and coin on the draw at $3.70.
Yup - only thing that would screw me is a tied test - draw hedges my wager on both Sri Lanka and NZ plus a little spare cash. Win to Sri Lanka makes me the most. You're still up on any of those results?
Exactly right. Head-heart bets, I call them. I don't bet on anything but golf majors anymore, but did this with the Warriors GF in 2002 and 2011. Much like you, much rather have parted with the cash.Always a good way for a passionate sports fan to hedge their bets, your team loses, but you win some cash & vice-versa.

Replace KW with Baz and you have my #Wellington2014thoughts.$1.95 on SRL at the TAB atm is still very good value. Either of Watling or KW nick off early tomorrow and that's all she wrote. You can also hedge the draw in the unlikely event of rain given that it's currently paying nearly $10.
