In two dayers, yeah. 14 in one comp (two pools) in one dayers and geographic conferences in T20.14 split across two divisions.
I hope you aren't planning to study/haven't studied statistics.More students than full time residents etc.
It tends to be that way across all regions though, there tends to be a favoured club of the moment and it's normally due to the coaching and setup, sometimes politics. Mark Turner should've played for Auckland, probably would've had he played at Howick-Pak.In two dayers, yeah. 14 in one comp (two pools) in one dayers and geographic conferences in T20.
But I presume Cane asked because it's incredible how many Aces and national players come from one club. Fair inquiry too.
Do you really believe he'd wait till he's 30 before playing international cricket? I'd put my house on him playing for New Zealand before 2017.Doesn't Craig Cachopa want to play for England though? Or is he keeping a foot in both camps?
Will still probs be next NZ opener though, under the policy of backing youth (and finally accepting that Rutherford youth needs some more work).Bracewell's not really a prospect who'll be waxed lyrical about by overseas viewers. We talk about him a lot because he's an opener. Or at least he did always open, back when Hesson coached Otago.
It was probably just too good a deal to pass up. County cricket, decent money etc. Add in he probably was t going to play for NZ for at least two years anyway. I just can't see him passing up international cricket for seven years.True, could easily be a half-threat to say to NZ 'hey guys, pick me or else'. An unnecessary threat though, seeing as he'd probably play for us anyway in some format in the next couple years.
"All I'll say about that is you need to pick specialist openers in New Zealand". - McCullum last monthWill still probs be next NZ opener though, under the policy of backing youth (and finally accepting that Rutherford youth needs some more work).
Excuses my hyperboleI hope you aren't planning to study/haven't studied statistics.
I'd attribute our success to a few things - being the first to have a proper indoor facility, Dipak Patel's work (his one-on-one work, not with our Premier side which he paid lip service to), training against a strong, competitive group, large junior base etc. Maybe I'm biased but I don't think politics got any of our guys to where they've got to. Every single one earned it. But you could be right on Mark, in that he might've had to develop his game more than just being outstanding on the front foot. Facing our quicks in the nets wouldn't have hurt his game a bit.It tends to be that way across all regions though, there tends to be a favoured club of the moment and it's normally due to the coaching and setup, sometimes politics. So Crachopa can play for NZ tomorrow if he likes? I was under the impression he had to commit to Sussex and by extension England, with a standdown period significantly longer if he wanted to tee up NZ again. It was probably just too good a deal to pass up. As he hasn't actually played for England, he can turn around and play for New Zealand immediately if he feels like it. Sussex may sue him for breach of contract but beyond that he's fine under ICC regulations. So Crachopa can play for NZ tomorrow if he likes? I dunno if there's too much special about Daryl Mitchell or Michael Bracewell. You've seen their possible international careers already in the likes of How, Flynn, Rutherford etc - and that's being very kind.
