Their transfer record under Rodgers is hideous though. Whether the one vote thing is true or not he will pay for it in the end, that's the way the game works. See also, every sacked Tottenham manager.
I wouldn't say he'll "pay" for it. He'll be the fall guy, but that just means picking up huge compensation then getting a good job somewhere else.

Doubt he'd land another job as big as his current one if he got the chop

He's just deflecting attention away from a poor result, same as Ferguson used to do. As Sledger says it is boring and the more people get outraged by it the more it plays into his hands. It always amuses me how people get outraged by it again and again and again when that is the whole idea of it.
I didn't really become outraged by it. Hence the rolleyes.

Yeah, he'd probably get a middling Prem appointment (Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham, Villa, maybe even back to the Swans depending on who's looking when the axe falls) and then be off abroad when that goes **** up too.

Furball is this Macleod guy as good as people are saying? It looks like we might actually be getting him.

I think top four will probably be Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal. I don't rate United particularly highly, but they're getting points. Five points isn't a lot with 19 to play though. So if Liverpool get a head of steam going then who knows.

Hard to say. He's literally the only player at Rangers I'd keep but it's hard to properly rate him seeing as his entire career has been played in the worst professional leagues in Europe.

He's skilful and got a good eye for a pass. £1m is potentially a bargain because if he's as good as I think he is you'll get a decent fee for him in 2 to 3 years if you develop him.

Sounds exactly like the sort of player we normally go for. Imagine he will be a replacement for Pritchard.
