Does anyone know how Haydos could have had any idea that Warner might be out for series before xray was even taken? It appears he doesn't even have a fracture. So why the premature grandiose comments - or did I miss something?

Hayden is a dickhead.

I've had the same thing that happened to Warner happen to me twice. Once I played a week later and even bowled with the injured thumb, and the other time I broke it and was out for almost a month. The break didn't hurt more than the non-break at the time; it's just not something you can tell right away.

Such a ****ing tease. Would've been better if Australia romped home instead of them laughing at us while throwing their wickets away while saying "Don't you wish you ****s had 70 more runs if you hadn't been muppets this morning?"

Yeah. But if we exclude the Johnson runs, I don't think Starc and Lyon would've got the runs they did. Johnson's innings just deflated us completely.
"Exclude the Johnson runs" meant from the tail-wag difference rather than the score - ie. even if we let the Johnson runs stand and India just didn't let Starc, Lyon and Hazlewood hammer them around, this could've been a real contest.
