On this:There was a stretch around 2005-06 when 190 out of 350-360 was par for the course for Lara.
Yeah, beat me to it, the first ever test match!Do you consider 245 a good score? My ancestor still holds the record for this from the first ever Test match if so. The oldest record.

I do not as that's the knock that prompted the questionDo you consider 245 a good score? My ancestor still holds the record for this from the first ever Test match if so. The oldest record.

I rate Craig and think he'll succeed on English and West Indies pitches but I just wasn't expecting him to do at all well here.Well we may be stuck with Craig after all.
Nah. Having just re watched the start of the day and seeing Williamson crying in the team huddle a mintue before they were about to go out onto the field you can't tell me he want's to be out there.I'm not sure it's that they don't want to be out there as such. More a case of not wanting to celebrate or show any positive emotions, which is understandable.
Ah Craig gets another freebie.
My first post post-Phil (still feeling like the players look). Btw, Glenn Turner has the 1st class run percentage record - 141 out of 169 for Worcestshire (83%)I do not as that's the knock that prompted the question
Thanks for the link. Looks like Nourse's 248 out of 417 answers my query. Hafeez does get on that list towards then end as he scored more than 55% of the team's runs here.
Really? Lacks the control to test the vigil of batsmen when the pitch isn't offering assistance IMO, handy against the left-handers thoughI rate Craig and think he'll succeed on English and West Indies pitches but I just wasn't expecting him to do at all well here.
Or the "On your way mate"The shot or the emotionless reaction over the dismissal?
Exactly. Horses-for-courses selection, which is about as good as we can get from a spinner.Really? Lacks the control to test the vigil of batsmen when the pitch isn't offering assistance IMO, handy against the left-handers though
Nah, NZ will get a first innings lead, just depends on how many. After watching that last session, I could totally see this match finishing up with scores of
350
100
100
100
Or some such. Very awkward to watch.
I won't be hypocritical & say I rate him now, because I don't. I did miss his last 4 wickets today, but most of the wickets I've seen in his test career to date have been gift-wrapped.I rate Craig and think he'll succeed on English and West Indies pitches but I just wasn't expecting him to do at all well here.
