I think it's fine really.

The faster things reach normalcy the faster the healing process can begin.

In the end cricket will continue on being cricket.

Talha just bowled a bouncer, and it was cheered by the crowd. That's pretty disturbing.
Disagree. As hard & sad as it is, one of the bowlers had to have the guts to bowl the delivery that has been part of the game for nigh on 150 years. The show must go on. I feel NZ's body language and lack of short stuff this morning was totally appropriate, but also feel that was about the right time for Talha to throw one in. Assuming the crowd felt the same.

Some magnificent strokeplay from McCullum meanwhile.... that pull-stroke was delicious.

Edit: and now using his feet over long off.

For my 2 cents.....

There is no right or wrong here. It is perfectly fine for the Pakistani bowler to bowl a bouncer, and it is perfectly fine for the Kiwis not to. I haven't watched any of this mornings play but if you are questioning the body language of the Black Caps that must just be a reflection of their present state of mind.........also perfectly OK IMO.

The show must go on, and it will........but every cricketer will have their own process in dealing with this and this is still very early days. I think cricket will feel strange for a little while to come yet.

For me it's just been controlled aggression & supreme shot selection so far. Nothing CBF about it.
I wouldn't say it's CBF, but he definitely looks pissed off about something and it wouldn't surprise me if it's the fact that they didn't want to play.

Whatever it is I hope he bottles it and takes the same attitude into future innnings. He's been responsible and resolute against the good deliveries.

Meanwhile...he's charges. :p
