I often find the match engine in these types of games frustrating to watch as anything slightly unrealistic bugs the crap out of me. It's the same in ICC.

Yeah I have never switched from 2D. It shouldn't really be miles better but it just is, I think for the reason Cabinet says.

Calling it a match engine suggests it helps process the result, on ICC its merely a few pre-recorded dismissals IMO, so little variation... Whats that you say, another full force pull shot that sticks to short legs hands??

Started a Utd game when I got 15. **** me its easy with that team. All I've added is Yarmolenko to the first team (brought in Tielemans, Vellejo and Balanta for future) and I'm tearing the league up. P21 W19 D2... Upto game 13 Everton were matching me point for point (one of my draws was against them, other at City), however they've dropped off and I'm now 17 points clear.... Its helped I've had no significant injuries, but still, crazily easy. Might jack it in and go do something else....

Stuck with my ridiculous Utd game. Won the league at a canter, broke the record for most goals in a season. Scored 134, but also conceded 56 - I guess my 4-4-2 makes for open games. However missed out on 100 points (Got 99) by losing at Hull on the final day of the season, Was very lucky with injuries, only major loss was RvP in Feb for 4 months.
Ended up losing 3 league games, 4-1 at Swansea, 5-2 at Chelsea and 2-1 at Hull. Out of the FA Cup with a horrific loss at home to Liverpool in the QF, 3-1 up on 60 mins, they are down to 10 men. Lost 4-3 with them scoring the 3 in 5 minutes. Was even more annoying because Van Gaal is there manager and, well, we seem to have a spat over something...
It'll be interesting to see how the team fares next season with European football to tire the squad more. No Falcao to bang them in (he hit 28 in the league) - the deal would've been £49m to sign, £12m in his fee, and £9m to the agent. Wasn't paying that, doubt the budget went that far. Keeping Hernandez and Henrique for now and probably let Wilson go on loan, even though he did a decent job last year.
I'll probably stick it to Christmas, and if its still too easy I'll download the editor and downgrade whoever I think's overrated (ATM Rooney and Di Maria are ones, possibly Herrera, RVP and maybe Mata too.)

Got 2015 at last, enjoying it so far. Started with Palace for some reason and am a respectable 12th right now but with a big gap to 13th and only a couple of points from the top half.
Bolasie is stupidly good, despite his finishing stat being 6. Just has a ridiculous amount of shots every single game, his long shooting is actually pretty good so it works out.
Lucas Romero is great as well, enjoy how Tim Vickery helps me out with FM despite him not knowing what it really is.

Having repeatedly had nightmare games playing as fairly middling sides, I've had a go with Chelsea recently and it's just so easy. The team just doesn't concede goals.
