This is unacceptable from us- now I have no excuse to avoid the DIY jobs I am being nagged to do around the house..

Yeah poor bowling I could accept but this batting is really a worry given a good chunk of our first XI is playing today

Akshar and Jadeja are both glorified dart throwers, but on occasion, I've seen Akshar beat batsmen in the flight. Happens too rarely for him to genuinely be considered a good spin bowler with a future, but he has a bit more to him than Jadeja.

The two best young prospects aren't playing it must be said, but yeah scary stuff
I don't get why this match should really make you more concerned tbh. The top and middle order is still made up if your veterans in Dilshan, Sanga, Mahela and Angelo (weird to call him a veteran, but comparatively). The only two who failed are Kushal and Priyanjan.

Anyway, how's Vithanage in limited overs? Thought he looked gash in the tests he played, but showed he could be a good hitter. Maybe like a Thisara with slightly better technique.

The whole tour and the trend of the last few years is the concerning part, very rarely has a young player stood up when needed and taken control bar Matthews, the batting line-up is built on 3 players who'll retire within a year. Vithanage is ok in LO, but Priyanjan occupies the same niche and he is probably better

Yeah if your point was overall and not just today's game then I agree, looks a bit grim for Sri Lanka. On the test front atleast they've got Kaushal and Dimuth who look good prospects, but they really do need a lot more. Lineup looks woeful without the old guys. Thirimanne and Tharanga got way too many chances.

That is horrible Rahane. Please don't do that **** in Australia.
Yep. Rahane's inning today has made me uncomfortable. I am already having question marks over his offside play and toda he was wierd against bounce too.

Gamage does a little juggle with the ball during his run up. It's quite cool tbh.

Kohli with a sublime wristy on drive as I type.

I just meant the method if dismissal tbh. Didn't watch Rahane's whole innings.
His whole innings was pretty bad tbh. Rayudu was awful though. Angelo Mathews was steaming in, banging it in halfway down at 125km/hr on a sedate wicket and having Rayudu completely lose his ****. So weird.
