**Official** Sri Lanka in India 2014

This series is just pointless. Sri Lanka clearly look uninterested and unprepared for it and missing key players like Malinga. If you asked me what this series does is that it is just boosting Indian batsman stats.

And lowers WICB's bills by 25 million or so.

I don't think Rayudu was as bad as Rahane tbh. Just when he was sorting out his marbles, he got run out.

Liked Dhawan and Kohli's knocks. Such clean stroke players.

Have loved Holding and Ganguly's commentaries. They call it as they see it.

I wouldn't worry too much about SL tbh. They've simply looked like they dgaf here and that won't be a problem in Aus, where they usually play pretty well these days.

A flying kiss to Anoushka. So cool.

Breaking Richards' record is pretty epic. Fastest to 6000 in terms of matches.

I thought so too but if you this as A games before the WC, it is significant as it provides chances to players and for selectors to see some players.

Dilshan adding new deliveries to his repertoire even though he's a 38 year old batsman who doesn't always bowl, has already retired from Tests and will almost certainly retire from ODIs in a few months is awesome. WAG.

PEWS re Rayudu -

He was just taken aback by so many short balls. They kept bowling them and he thought it wasn't allowed. Complained to the umoire too before hittin g one for four. I would put this to a bit of inexperience at intermational cricket more than any thing. Don't think he expected so many short ones, even if at mild pace.

What I don't like right now is his fidgeting and lack of confidence some how. Hasn't played at this stage wanting it for so much time. I hope this aspect goes away as he feels he belongs, and I hope he is able to belong.

congrats to India on a deserved series win and looking like it will be a whitewash here too...I am really annoyed with our board for the simple reason that i dont understand why someone in SL isnt recruited to travel the island and find us four guys who can just bowl quick. Dont worry about the fine tuning of their skills, they can be taught that , but the ability of being a genuinely quick bowler cant. Pakistan have done it for years, and now India are producing the likes of sharma, yadav and aaron who can all regularly bowl 140kph+ so there shouldnt be a reason we cant(yes i know its a smaller pool of people to find talent from)..Just because the tradition of SL bowlers was biased towards spin doesnt mean it has to be in the future. We cannot compete at the top level without two guys who are genuine wicket takers and whilst this series is an experimental one, in terms of bowlers, no one seems to have stepped up. Come on SLC use some of that newly gained $$$ from this tour and find us some genuine quicks...

It's probably a pipe dream, but I'd like to see the BCCI shake things up and try out some youngsters in the following two ODIs. Sanju Samson, Karn Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav have all made it to the fringes without getting to play. No better time than this to see what they're made of.

Also, is it just me or does Rayudu suck? He doesn't resemble a top-order batsman for a major team. His strike rate is way too low and he doesn't even half the talent that Rohit Sharma (can of worms) has. Why can't a young 'un be found to take his place?

Kedhar Jadhav needs to be given a damn run in the side. Come on Kohli! Get him in.
