Was about to post that actually. If Vaughan has any involvement in this, he's done Cricket a favour. How Wasim can make excuses/ blatantly ignore chucking is beyond me.

Anyone with a pair of eyes could tell you that this guy has made a career out of chucking and whilst it's a sorry indictment on the game that it has taken until the end of his career before something has been done about it, I am struggling to get too worked up about it when others have gotten away with it for years

It wouldn't have been the end of his career though. He was still bowling incredibly well, still fit, and because he hardly bowled much until he was 30 ( for whatever reason) he had tons of overs in his bank, he would have been easily playing for 5 years IMHO. Looking quickly at cricinfo he's bowled about half of what Warne did, and so much less than Murali. The two Mushtaq's beat him massively too.

Plenty left for him.

Didn't mean those teams have bowlers with unclean actions, I'm just saying if the ICC keeps ramping this up and starts testing bowlers even with clean looking actions, then no-one's safe. Nothing would affect us. One ****ty bowler gets banned, selet the next ****ty one
