I was waiting for Cook to say "we were probably 200 short." He didn't, but we were if India's scoring rate is anything to go on.

What I dont get is why players like Cook and Bell cant adjust their scoring rate for ODI cricket. India's batting in the ODIs has been fantastic and aggressive.
Rahane's innings yesterday was a great 100, and like a lot of ODI 100s it wasnt just slogging they were proper cricket shots. Hes not an aggressive player however he adjusted and can dominate the attack without slogging, Cook and Bell should be able to as well.

All time greats likes of Sachin, Sir Viv, Ponting, Lara etc could all adapt to ODIs. And the best players these days like Clarke, Amla, Di Villiers, Sanga they can all adapt too.

I think its a case of England just sitting down and watching tape on how India bat in limited overs cricket.
Yes England dont have the big hitters that India do, but can still try because current formula is not working!

a 4-0 home defeat is looming muhahahahah

Rahane's really done well to get after Anderson this whole tour, those straight sixes are such a delight to watch.

I say Rahane should be permanent opener and we send Rohit back to number 4, it works out better for both bats.

Really is unbelievable how opposite each fan base views Tests/ODIs. The only reason England's bad ODI play is getting any press is because a WC is coming up, and without the Indian fans the stadium would be half empty (at best).
