Glad to hear that Pujara wants to do a county stint but it really would've helped if sone of our guys had requested this before. Feels as though after this disastrous series, some of them have thought to themselves "Oh no, I'm actually pretty ****".

Whether he'll actually get a county is doubtful but at least he wants to do it. It's something.

Pujara's still a gun, there are not many batsmen that will do well against Anderson/Broad in seamer friendly conditions in any case, and Pujara was usually in within like the first 10 overs almost every game so it was probably even more difficult for him than Kohli/Rahane.

India are so overrated. Kohli was a surprise in this test series. Didn't score one 50 in any of those 5 test matches. Rahane looks very promising.

If you think India is overrated, why do you find Kohli's failure to be a surprise? And then you go on to rate another Indian batsman while you don't rate India.

what's wrong with what he said? i also think india are a pathetic test team but kohli i thought was better than this

He said India are overrated. For that to be true that means someone rates them.........who rates India away from home?

And the term "pathetic" when describing a cricket team, which seems to get bandied around so freely really irks me....I'd even go as far as to say it is pathetic.

Look, you have 2 teams in a contest, one team ends up being better than the other and wins.........that loosing team is not pathetic, they were just not as good. There are some very good cricketers in the Indian team and some maybe not so good......but they are playing a sport at the top level, something I daresay most of us would love to do........so I just fail to see how they can be pathetic, even if on the occasion they were not very good.

Oh and Kohli is better than this........unless one bad series now renders him pathetic.

Should be said if the weather forecast for Monday is close to being right I doubt there will be any play at all.
