Wow. Obviously there's a sample size issue for such an extreme fluctuation but I didn't realise his series had been quite that bad.He averaged 58.92 before this series, so yeah pretty much.
He actually averaged 66 at the start of the year, and all he's played this year is two Tests in New Zealand and this series.
Yeah I'd have got my 5 if the rain hadn't have come.Brumby wins but it's tainted by the 11 minutes that the rain stole
It hasn't really. He's got starts just not kicked on.Wow. Obviously there's a sample size issue for such an extreme fluctuation but I didn't realise his series had been quite that bad.
I think so. Don't think we turned in anything quite that bad during the winter did we?Is that one of the all time worst sessions by a side?
Lets hope you're not gambhiring. And that's the end of Gambhir.
Hmm. Morning session on Day 2 of Sydney, evening session on Day 3 at Melbourne - hell, even the afternoon session of Day 2 at Brisbane all come to mind.I think so. Don't think we turned in anything quite that bad during the winter did we?
I always thought Gambhir would be back after his last dropping. I was never a huge fan even when he scoring tons upon tons, but I thought he was good enough for that not be 'the end' at such a young age. I guess I was technically right but this has been so dire that I was essentially wrong on that front. His bad habits actually seem so much more exaggerated now than they were when he was last in the side; it seemed like more of a mid-career trough to me back then.Wow ridiculous. Never play for India again you spineless fool. Jumping and hopping when facing anything that bounces over waist high, and now look at this travesty... Crouching like a scared little girl when the fielder throws the ball. Stand up straight and take some blows on the body FFS. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
It's safe to say you've remembered a lot more of that series than meHmm. Morning session on Day 2 of Sydney, evening session on Day 3 at Melbourne - hell, even the afternoon session of Day 2 at Brisbane all come to mind.
In the case of Brisbane at least, that was a case of our batting folding but to quality bowlingHmm. Morning session on Day 2 of Sydney, evening session on Day 3 at Melbourne - hell, even the afternoon session of Day 2 at Brisbane all come to mind.
All very good examples of shocking sessions of cricket.......still think what we saw this morning is on a whole new level of woefulness.Hmm. Morning session on Day 2 of Sydney, evening session on Day 3 at Melbourne - hell, even the afternoon session of Day 2 at Brisbane all come to mind.
Including Bell and Prior getting caught short leg off consecutive balls? Fair point, though. In the case of Brisbane at least, that was a case of our batting folding but to quality bowling
here they've bowled and fielded like buffoons then capped it with a run out.
I went into an exam that afternoon when England were 1 for. Rang my mate when I got out the exam and genuinely couldn't believe what he was telling me.Hmm. Morning session on Day 2 of Sydney, evening session on Day 3 at Melbourne - hell, even the afternoon session of Day 2 at Brisbane all come to mind.
Man that was ****ing painfulIncluding Bell and Prior getting caught short leg off consecutive balls? Fair point, though.
