Granted it's been a while since I checked but I'm sure Pujara's average was around 60 last I looked. That hasn't dipped purely as a result of this series?

:wub: Rooteh. What a ****ing man. They better keep him at #5, been unbelievable there this summer. Easily my favourite player in this England batting line-up. Him, Jos, The Beard and Gareh. So good.

He averaged 58.92 before this series, so yeah pretty much.

He actually averaged 66 at the start of the year, and all he's played this year is two Tests in New Zealand and this series.

Averaging 50.29 now, has dropped considerably. Class player though, just having a bad series, he'll be back plundering runs soon.
