This Jadeja - Ashwin thing abroad is real conundrum for India abroad unless they get a real turner.

One isn't worth his place in the side as a all rounder with the bat and one isn't worth his place as a all rounder with the ball given blunt performances consistently. And neither is worth their place as proper Batsman or Proper bowler overseas really or the best available option in terms of that.
Could argue for Ashwin to be selected as a pure bat tbh

Wow what a disaster. Clearly it's back to the drawing board for the test team. So disappointing from Pujara and Kohli in particular and losing 19 wickets to Ali is absurd. Hard to believe that Gambhir is the answer as opener either. On the plus side Bhuvi obviously and perhaps Aaron. I am still skeptical that Ishant has turned it around but one can always hope. Add Umesh waiting in the wings and I think India could have a half-decent seam attack in a couple of years. I still think this will be a quality batting lineup so India's future is probably not as dark as it looks today.

Pick Ohja then seeing as he is the best spinner you have.

This is one of the worst batting performances I've seen live in a long, long time. Particularly if you consider the Test in totality.

And I'm Australian.

Definitely should bat 6 in this team. Him coming behind Dhoni and even ****ing Jadeja is absurd. In all fairness though, selecting him above Rohit purely on batting would be wrong.
In this team yeah definitely. 6 or 7.

But got better pure batting options than him.
