Ugh, Gayle looks as bad as Tim Southee at the moment. Bet he'll troll a disgusting 100 today.

This is just bad bowling from Southee. Letting himself get spooked by a couple of leaden footed flails, and dropping short. Utter waste of the new ball.

The bowling in general looks a bit panicked and unfocused. Boult is trying way too much from short stuff to pointlessly going round the wicket. Craig is well, Craig. Southee looks flat. Aside from the bowling, gotta admit this opening partnership is good, both Braithwaite and Gayle complement each other. Could be a long hard day for NZ if things stay the same. Still very early though.

Yeah, Southee in particular has been complete arse. The worst I've seen him bowl since the 2nd test v England last year.

Still early days but my prediction of whoever bats second will only bat once is looking good. I don't like the tactics of sticking to what worked once, Craig should of been replaced by Wagner and Rutherford by Anderson and McCullum should of bowled first.

Now you're just doing this to piss me off.

Throw away from Gayle. The only way we looked like getting a wicket, tbh.
Nah, Gayle has looked like getting out almost every other ball today. Mind you, you could've said the same about his innings at Trinidad, and he ended up absolutely destroying the bowling attack (admittedly in a no pressure situation).
