Wouldn't have been too upset with two wickets if we hadn't conceded nearly 5 runs an over. As it is, we're going to need a real lollapse after the break to keep ourselves in the game.

I've been impressed by the way the WI have bounced back from the defeat in the first test. They're completely outplaying NZ.

NZ on the other hand have got worse as the series has gone on. The bowling in this innings has been diabolical.

One wicket down would have Been absolutely perfect. In saying that, the west Indies have scored so quickly this first session. Still need to do a lot of work in the second session With the Huge baggage that their tail is...just imagine if the selectors hadnt had a brain implosion and chosen 5 bowlers

I think we are damn lucky the WI are not 180 odd without loss with the rubbish we have been serving up, would need a dramatic turn around to keep them under a 100 run lead.

So much for Craig keeping it tight, going at almost five runs an over. Is his series RPO higher than Sodhi's yet?

2) Braithwaite looks like a rock - kind of - he doesn't get forward enough and plays from his crease a bit - he is susceptible to leg cutters. That said I love the way he brings his back foot to the off side of the delivery to aid his balance. Left handers coming round the wicket to him or Southee coming from wide on the crease is how to force to him play more linearly and not get his body behind the ball as much. Prediction Wagner to get him from round the wicket for 40-60 runs next to his name.
claiming that.

Fight New Zealand.

And what was the point in playing Rutherford if he got out for 4 runs. At least he took a good catch I guess.

Ironic a bit that Wagner is the only one of our pace attack who seems to be able to bowl a line and length in this innings.

I think there's more rain forecast for tomorrow too. ****ing typical, the two days of the series that I can watch.
