Hmm, IIRC in recent years his only really good patch at home came against two complete joke attacks in the same summer. He has 25 hundreds. I know he's often better on tour but he must have scored a few on his own shores.

Sure, but his godlike series have been elsewhere haven't they?He has 25 hundreds. I know he's often better on tour but he must have scored a few on his own shores.
Was that 2011 against SL and India?Hmm, IIRC in recent years his only really good patch at home came against two complete joke attacks in the same summer.
Nah I think it's more what grecian just mentioned. In recent years, anyway.Cook actually averages more in England than he does abroad. I think his home struggles are exaggerated in the mind a bit by the fact that he's never done well in a home Ashes series.
He was great in the 2009 Ashes and I think most on here agreed.I swear he was good, or at least showed some promise when he started though. Maybe I imagined this.
Is there such a thing as a "cheap" seat at Lords?I'm there in the cheap seats tomorrow
Yes.Is Lakmal injured?
Hopefully back for headingley dependant on passing a fitness test..Is Lakmal injured?
Yes.
OK.Hopefully back for headingley dependant on passing a fitness test..
Nah it's a valid phraseThere's that rebuilding phrase...not a fan. Teams that are "rebuilding" usually get stuck there for years. Nothing dispels uncertainty and talk about "rebuilding" like a test series win or two.
Yes I stand corrected on my calls for us playing two spinners..OK.
Well in that case with my limited knowledge of SL players I think the selectors have done an excellent job.
