Gee, it's getting beyond a worry about Cook now, isn't it?
He'll be fine. He's either playing like **** or batting like a God, and those periods last for ages. He's just trapped in the middle of his prank batsman phase. This time next year he'll probably be scoring double hundreds for fun again.

I was at Lord's 3 years ago for the first day against Sri Lanka and we were 3 for nothing against Welegedara, Lakmal and Maharoof, with Strauss, Trott and Pietersen out. This is pretty comfortable.

Warne's commentary is absolutely terrible right now.

Stop lollygagging around Sky and bring me the Atherton+Hussain combo.

How many times has Cook actually done that in England though?

Yeah we must have all dreamed those hundreds in India.

Mute button on now......these ***** are hurting my ears.

I swear he was good, or at least showed some promise when he started though. Maybe I imagined this.
What was and still is endearing about Warne is that he was very prepared to rate highly both a) modern players and b) players from the opposition.

I think that was refreshing to see back in the time that Australian commentators didn't bother with anyone not named Tendulkar.

Mainly the approach needed to batting in the first session in these conditions

And the rather odd batting order wrt Ballance and Root. Of course, if Ballance goes on to make a decent score at number 3 I'll deny writing that.
