And if they don't trust him you have to question why he's thereIt suggests to me that they don't trust Root, he really should be at 3 with Bell at 4.
Kind of what you expect from a professional attack, never mind an international one. Which may come back to bite me when England's attack bowl far too short for this track.Poor shot. Decent start from Sri Lanka though, putting the ball in decent areas.
We could be just about to see exactly that, except now they'll be 3 down if it happens rather than 2.Imagine Cook and Bell departing in quick succession...
Think 4 is ideal for Bell now there is no KP.And if they don't trust him you have to question why he's there
Bell should probably be at 3 looking at the rest of the line-up but he always plays better at 4/5 so happy enough with that
You going to the Headingley test mate?Wow the "huge" atmosphere of Lords is deafening..goods areas from our bowlers..I have to say I was wrong to call for us to play two spinners at this stage..
300/4Predictions for close of play anyone?
No, but hardly surprising given what we've seen from English batsmen over the last two and half years plus lots of newcomers.Oh dear. I guess some of the questions I wanted answering are getting answered.........just not the answers I wanted.
