So the 3rd Umpire who isn't Richard Gough was Gough's fault and the Root decision which was such a howler Senenayake was appealing for an LBW before the catch was caught. Yeah nice one champ.

3 dead-on yorkers in a row from Malinga, that is so good.

Oh Jos. What a player. Slightly wide, and it's timed beautifully. Hope he gets another score here.

Why would the third umpire be at fault for giving the right decision??there is no rule that states that an umpire can only look at one appeal..next??

What are you talking about? You are blaming a referred stumping on Gough who isn't the 3rd umpire. Good god.

From cricinfo live scorecard comments:

Chris: "Interesting comparison - Notts 176-2 off 37 overs at Tea in their Championship match, with Alex Hales 113 not out off 102 balls"

hint hint

Pee shooter. Cross batted shots should have been put away but as usual English batsman can't possibly adapt to conditions.

Alex Hales wouldn't have done anything on this pitch. He is also fuming at Sussex after Ben Brown cheated him by claiming that drop.

Eng's problem is that they are not confident enough to come down the track vs spinners. I think only Bell does that consistently.

Err no..please re read my comment...I said that the umpiring was poor I.e the bopara not out ( which you agreed ) and I THEN commented on gough who failed to give root out ( which was overturned by the third umpire) and his other howlers throughout this series..

No you said howlers then pointed to Root. The Bopara isn't a howler in any world, its a 50/50 decision and the Root one as proven the Lankan bowler was appealing for LBW so obviously not a howler either.

Umpiring has been pretty good this series bar a few wide calls which is nothing. Aren't they 7/10 on DRS referrals?

Yet more dissent from Sri Lanka despite it being a wide.

4 runs from wides in the 39th over.. not sure what's going on.. Jordan seems unsure on what to do - 10 overs feels too much for him to handle.

235-240 isn't a bad score but lot to do to get there. Very slow pitch, Ravi and Tredders should be effective.

So is it a 50/ 50 decision or are you saying it's out??oh and by the way"champ" it's Michael Gough...
 its a 50/50 decision of which I'd have given out but can see why they didn't. I'm not going to reply to you further, clearly you lack any objectivity towards your team.

Excellent jog on...not at all, but I DO object to my team being slated because they have the upper hand at the time..the point is we are entitled to appeal to anything we feel is out. I am certainly not here for an argument, just a healthy debate..

See that full stop???
You are aware that howlers with an s is plural? You then name two howlers one of which had nothing to do with him. You are embarrassing, welcome to the ignore list.

Gough has had a good series, seems that some Sri Lankan fans see everything as a conspiracy that they want to cry about.

Yes well aware( a BSc, MSc & a PhD give me a bit of insight into grammar) as again if you re re read it, it said "The umpires" THEN referred to gough. He has in your opinion I think differently from being at two of the five games - obviously yours is the only opinion allowed..you are clearly looking for an argument but you will have to look elsewhere..good luck to you..
