IIRC the last two all-rounders to debut at #8 and as 4th seamers were Styris then Oram, both ended up as test batsmen who bowled. Think Neesham may be headed the same way. Looked more composed and controlled than what I have seen of Anderson so far.Big call, but Neesham has looked more composed with the bat (in Tests) than Anderson up until this point. Anderson has scored some good test runs but looks the looser of the two IMHO.
You can talk when you move out of palmy ****sorry for blocky btw guys. it's a hamilton thing. you should feel sorry for albie and i think ohnoitsyou who have to live there every day. we should save them.
Ohhh I love a good Ode.just remembered i have a half completed ode to BJ Watling on my computer that I was going to post when he next scored a century (so today).
it's not finished though.
A patient and slowly (but well) compiled ode would be quite fitting for BJ Watling.just remembered i have a half completed ode to BJ Watling on my computer that I was going to post when he next scored a century (so today).
it's not finished though.
India actually didn't bowl badly, as weird as that may sound. They were pretty innocuous and the pitch flattened out, but for what they are they all bowled pretty well. Awesome innings from McCullum.Logged onto Cricinfo just then, honestly expecting India to have wrapped things up by now. Boy was I naive.
Holy Mother of ****! How could you let NZ get 5 BILLION FOR SIX, when they were three for bugger all the other day.
For those watching, was it a case of India's bowlers reverting to type and turning into complete **** when the pitch browned out or did McCullum play out of his skin and pull a VVS laxativeman out of his arse?
Yeah Harbhajan bowled bloody well on that last day but Tendulkar got wickets too. That pitch was offering some pretty venomous spin, there is no way you could say the same about this pitch.I think people forget that many people thought India waited way too long to declare when Laxman's innings was going on, and really Harbhajan was magnificent that game (I still think that's the best I've seen a spin bowler bowl in a series in India). If Harbhajan hadn't done what he did, Laxman's innings would still be considered amazing, but not be held in the same esteem. I think the same might be true of this innings if NZ don't win. Which is a shame because neither VVS or McCullum have much of a say in how well their bowlers do.
Yea, absolutely.Yeah Harbhajan bowled bloody well on that last day but Tendulkar got wickets too. That pitch was offering some pretty venomous spin, there is no way you could say the same about this pitch.
5/94, iircholy mother of ****! How could you let nz get 5 billion for six, when they were three for bugger all the other day.
