I don't understand what this anti Guptill business is. Guptill has been a consistent performer at ODI level for quite some time. Just 6 months ago he smashed 189*!

He may be a little out of form but he'll be back.

The only criticism I have of Guptill is he needs to rotate the strike. I don't care if he's not scoring runs but he does need to feed the other batsmen the strike.

Great idea, why not block out an over and get a single off the last ball, starve another player of strike when he's hitting it better than you and reduce the scoring rate again.

Agree - **** bowling on the Hamilton wicket, boundaries aren't that massive and definitely reachable. If they're bowling that at Anderson, Ronchi and McCullum they;ll go the distance.

Not sure I completely agree with @scottbstyris & @cmacca10 - Guptill ' s big scores have all come when he's "caught up" on his strike rate.
