Hadn't really considered Shaqri, good shout. Also a few rumours about Arsenal reigniting their interest in Di Maria.Rumours about Shaqiri leaving Bayern, not heard him linked to Arsenal at all but could be a possible move.
Agree Gnabry has looked excellent so far so maybe it will just be a central striker, no idea who though.
You could say that about anyone buying anything anywhere.Because the Glazers have been allowed by the corrupt capitalist systems of the west to take that which is not theirs.
He and Park seem to be only ones left after the deadwood cleanup of the summer. No idea why they're there, as Arsene clearly has next to no confidence in them. It's time to see what Ryo Miyaichi can do...
With Wilshere, Gnabry and Rosicky we have enough options out wide right. Especially with Chamberlain coming back soon too.Who's the best target though? Read a tweet saying Arsenal can replace him positional wise easily, but can't replace the amount of goals he gives, which I'd have to agree with.
What makes you say this?Yeah Costa is going nowhere, least of all Arsenal. Not really our style of striker.
I don't think Ryo was ever likely to be one of the departures during the big clearout tbh. Was still thought of as a decent prospect at the time; whether he still is rated as such is certainly less clear. I wouldn't mind seeing him given a go tbh, looked decent on loan at Bolton. Gnabry clearly a better option though. He and Park seem to be only ones left after the deadwood cleanup of the summer. No idea why they're there, as Arsene clearly has next to no confidence in them.
Arsenal have played without a proper wide man for half their matches this season as well btw. Could easily just play Wislhere or Rosicky there. Or even shift Cazorla and Oezil across and play Podolski out wide on the left.
His best performances have come from out there tbh i.e. MarseilleWilshere wide right hasn't worked well has it?
Wenger seems to be favouring a target man/hold up player, who's good in the air and can link up with the midfielders at the moment, and from what I understand that's not really Costa's style. More of a direct goal threat and clinical finisher, and less of the back to goal flicks and through balls which Giroud does. I'd still take him obvs, but I'm not sure Wenger will be after him. What makes you say this?
Yeah, without doubt. Reckon he'd be a Prem superstar. With Wilshere, Gnabry and Rosicky we have enough options out wide right. Especially with Chamberlain coming back soon too.
It solves a little bit of an issue in a strange way IMO as there's no way we'd go back to playing with Walcott and Podolski on the wings, we were only ever going to opt for one 'direct' winger and Podolski and Theo are pretty similar players in terms of style and output tbh.
Draxler would be the dream.
Is the last bit a back handed compliment for being a diving git?Costa can definetly do everthing Giroud can, is really strong and is amazing getting fouled.
We already get that whenever Souness shares a studio with Redknapp. It'd be good to get those two in a studio together come to think of it, I imagine Keane's reaction to some of the stuff Redknapp says would be quite amusing.
Draxler's having a bit of second-season syndrome at the moment. But word on the street is that Arsenal's German contingent are a big draw for him, so it might yet happen.Yeah, without doubt. Reckon he'd be a Prem superstar.
