*Official* English Football Season 2013-14

Norwood's on Fire
Word is we've been bought by Michael Wilde who was previously owner of Southampton when they went into administration. Sounds bad on first glance but digging into it it seems it wasn't really his fault. No Peter Risdale.

And we've actually paid money to make one of our loans permanent...a good start and if it's a sign of things to come then happy days. Oh for a bit of investment.

Football just so good right now.
Yessssss. Such an awesome win at Old Trafford, which I actually predicted for a change. I can't see us catching the top 3, but a Champions League qualifying spot as per usual is up for grabs.

Don't think Utd should've had a pen today, Welbeck dived, Young might've been caught, but its more a small clash, and its not like it impeded him.

Couldn't believe it when Adebayor took a throw in, Lennon caught it, and Webb decided Adebayor wasn't taking the throw in, just giving it to Lennon to take it (using the same technique as a throw in) - who was so keen to take the throw in he passed it t someone else to take. WTF....

The Young one was clearly a penalty. It's beyond belief that the referee didn't give it. Why are goalkeepers allowed to challenge for the ball by raising your studs to at least waist height - if an outfield player had gone for the ball in an identical manner he'd have been sent off for dangerous play.

Good signing I reckon, fits in with your style-of-play, knows the League, won Prem titles (unlike the rest of the losers there), will score goals.

Haha yeah it was an insane decision. Imagine it happening anywhere else on the pitch not involving the goalkeeper and you realise how bat**** mad Webb's decision was.

Can't complain though, not like Young hasn't bought us a few undeserved ones over the years. We were poor going forwards until the last half-hour but I'd say the defence is the bigger problem. Spurs were so open and disorganised before we gifted them a goal, then they sat back and did a decent job of shutting the game down. Second goal was a mess too.

People criticise Moyes's negativity, but if he was negative you'd think we'd at least be semi-reasonably drilled at the back. It's not that he's been negative, it's that he's sucked massive hairy balls at every aspect of the entire job thus far.

Joey Barton's kid is a mascot today for QPR at Everton, fully expect him to head-butt the toffees mascot and stamp on him when he's down.

Have to laugh at West Ham. The only team around the bottom 8 to keep their manager and they are sinking even faster than England in Australia. Their owners are a joke and they are going down. Good to see.
