*Official* English Football Season 2013-14

I love Rosický, total unsung hero this season. Arsenal play so much better when he's in the team.
Really don't agree. It's now at the stage where it's gone the other way. Everyone is too busy calling him an unsung hero to actually bother praising him or criticising him when he does anything wrong.

Yeah, spot on for me. He's clearly a really good player but you're not underrated if *everyone* says/thinks you're underrated.

Paul Scholes of course was the king of being called under-rated for about a decade.

Shock Horror transfer news brace yourselves.

Yeah, I wouldn't say Rosicky is underrated by Arsenal fans. Maybe the casual fan though.

I actually think Flamini is another one who's managed to become overrated because of the stereotypical - defensive midfielder, underrated - tag.

Yeah, people who rate Flamini more than Arteta because he gets dirty and shouts at people annoy me. He's been a great addition to the squad and really been an asset at times but Mikey is >>>.

That's a beautiful thing.

So secret agent Sherwood has successfully taken the Spurts out of two cups in two weeks now...

Love the Arsenal bus park for the last ten minutes when leading. Never thought I'd see it, now I watch it every week.

Literally in tears at Theo still

Love that we've just strolled past Spuds at a canter. They're so average.

By unsung hero I mean people won't immediately point to him as a reason for Arsenal doing well. Koscielny, Mertesacker, Ramsey, Özil and Giroud have all been much more heralded.

The main reason for that is output. Koscielny and Mertesacker just don't concede and rack up clean sheets. Özil, Ramsey and Giroud get the goals and assists.
Rosicky gets the nod from Wenger for most of our big games and it's because he goes along way to bridging that gap without really doing much himself. His work rate and intelligence goes a long way to helping the defensive shape of the side and he's technically good on the ball and has great vision, whether it be carrying the pall himself or passing it on but he isn't involved all that much in the direct lead up to many of our goals.
He's a facilitator, not an instigator and they tend to go much more unnoticed.

The supporter tally in my twitter timeline exploded overnight.

Not quite as embarrassing as the number of Leeds United fans from inland fjords, but still.
