Well I guess if someone isn't watching the series, they're unlikely to post much about it.

Not in the context, it was a response to the English bloke hoping for Stokes to get a double century, if he does England win. It's that simple.
Gotcha. But don't just assume if they do it means Australia chokes, is my point. We are all too prone to saying that about our own side, but if the other mob bats brilliantly despite our bowling and fielding well, then it's too good, not a choke.

I'm a full blown Stokes convert now. I had him in the 'potentially class' bracket and wasn't happy with him touring as I didn't see how or why he'd ever end up in the side and I thought he'd be best of in the EPP. I certainly had him down as a much worse batsman than Woakes (and I'm not saying he isn't now), who I thought would be a better option for the back up 6th batsman/containing 3rd seamer.

This knock has just been insane though. I know a lot gets said about attitude and such like but considering the situation of the series when we walked to the crease. Jeez man.

He's absolutely, unequivacally a product of the English cricket system so I have no problem with him playing for England.

That's true - but being the son of a Kiwis league player he is the product of NZ guts, toughness and fortitude. That's ticker son!

Go the might vodafone warriors!

We have had some incredible shockers in that time but nothing to approach what this would be if the poms get their wish.
NZ just had to endure a double century from Darren Bravo, Darren Sammy learning how to bat, as well as a subsequently proven chucker taking quick wickets and perfectly timed rain preventing a home test victory.

It was painful.

But we trounced them by an innings and 73 runs the next game.

**** happens.

It isn't too good it will be a miracle. Not going to happen but on the off chance it did it would be a better recovery than Headingley 81 as it was led by a kid in his 2nd test by a team who can't bat on this tour.

I would argue that saying that any bowling side losing from such an unbeatable position bowled really well as being totally preposterous.idea. In 135 or so years of test cricket no bowling side has ever lost a test from there.

That sounds like a real nightmare. I doubt any team would recover if they lost a test from this stage but. If a miracle occurs here England will easily win the next two and we would probably be waiting another decade. Lets just not go there and win the damn thing eh.

I really am worried about Broad not being allowed a runner now

Can see us lasting another session and then losing. Because it's the hope that gets you, to take it to the final session would fill me full of hope.

Well, you've got pretty high standards if you think Harris, Siddle and Johnson haven't bowled well this morning tbh. There's been plenty of plays and misses, a couple of balls spooned up which landed in gaps etc etc. Not detracting from England whose batting this morning has been great, but if the bowlers continue to do that but the ball doesn't bounce their way, it's hardly poor bowling, is it? You produce balls which create chances/ cause mistakes. That doesn't automatically mean the chances go to hand or the mistakes are fatal.
