International Regular
cause you will get wickets trololol
Every time I get excited about Sodhi I remember the fact that every leg spinner - even at 3rd grade club level - is going to produce a good delivery every now and again.Because of balls like that tbf
I think he peaked last season, and is now trying to do too much as someone else mentioned. I thought he played his role at home against England well, dude to being consistently there and there abouts. Problem is though, we are so short in terms of international ready / talent who else is there to viably replace him with that isn't a failed Black Cap from the last 2 years?I know I've been saying this for about three years now but Neil Wagner is pure rubbish.
For Christ's sake. Earlier this week you were bigging him up. Make your mind up.Shillingford= i'm starting to lose patience with him now!!
Why?Anderson doing so well asks 2 questions:
1. Is Neil Wagner the right option as third seamer? Answer probably no.
But the second question is more interesting:
2. Can we afford to lose his bowling when Ryder returns? That is a huge question given we will need to take 20 wickets against some very good Indian batsmen in the new year. Ryder simply has to slot back in the team. Will McCullum be forced to open again?
watched him against pakistan and some of his balls to the left handed opener were unplayable,Chris Martin used to love this ground. He found some serious inswing and could get the ball to rise sharply from a length to the left hander from his height.
which building are you inIt's looking a lot brighter now (looking from next to the Beehive sun has come out).
As a leggie, it can be a lonely, lonely existence and there needs to be a degree of patience with how Ish is handled. Leggies are somewhat confidence players, and from the first ball that Ish bowled today, you already knew how this spell would pan out. Once he's at the point where he can bowl what he wants when he wants, coupled with the belief then he'll be ready.
.
Ryder has to come back because he's objectively a better batsman than McCullum. I don't think anyone in NZ - including Hesson and McCullum - would deny that. Why?
If Anderson provides more value than Ryder through runs and wickets, then having Jesse as first cab off the rank to keep the pressure on the middle order can only be a good thing. McCullum was only getting worse as an opener and I'd rather bring in Raval if Fulton or Rutherford fail.
I don't think he could be any worse if he was on the take.RE Wagner, didn't he used to be really good for the two years he topped the wicket taking tables. So why is he so **** now
why should an opener be punished for this?Ryder has to come back because he's objectively a better batsman than McCullum. I don't think anyone in NZ - including Hesson and McCullum - would deny that.
