Yeah, very fair call.He wouldn't have had the contacts, but even if he did, probably not. Big clubs are very choosy about the playing style of clubs they loan out players to.
I don't think Everton under Martinez reflect badly on Moyes. A club continuing to improve after the manager leaves is usually a sign that he did a responsible job imo.
But it does suggest that he took them as far as he could. It reminds me a little of when Wenger first took over Arsenal- Martinez is inheriting a solid defensive system and can concentrate on adding his passing game.
Also shows the benefit of continuity. Arsene basically kept the core Arsenal ethos intact (appointing or keeping chaps like Rice and Brady, who have "ARSENAL" stamped through them like Blackpool rock) and subtly added his own philosophy to it.
Moyes, by bringing in his own backroom staff, has, to some extent, pissed away a little bit of what he inherited from Ferguson.
