Rosicky should start against City. Santi's been meh for ages now.
Great knock down by Theo. Imagine if Özil hadn't been there after Giroud's miss.

****. First goal Wojciech's conceded in over 500 minutes and Mertesacker's first since October :(

If that went in I'd have drowned in a pool of my own bodily fluids.

Good game, fair result, 5 points clear.

It was quite a good match after I said it was rubbish, I'm getting good at turning matches around like that. I'll keep it up:)

And Arsenal escape with a point. Wenger will be happy with that effort from his scrappy underdogs

Really good game there. Everton were really impressive, even moreso than on Wednesday. Barkley looks amazing.

Would Barca have let Deulofeu come to Everton under Moyes?

Genuine question, not being particularly snarky.

Barkley is unbelievable. Was quality in the derby too. It's depressing he's such a hard-core bitter. Should be leading Liverpool into a new golden era :D

He wouldn't have had the contacts, but even if he did, probably not. Big clubs are very choosy about the playing style of clubs they loan out players to.

I don't think Everton under Martinez reflect badly on Moyes. A club continuing to improve after the manager leaves is usually a sign that he did a responsible job imo.

But it does suggest that he took them as far as he could. It reminds me a little of when Wenger first took over Arsenal- Martinez is inheriting a solid defensive system and can concentrate on adding his passing game.
