I saw it. Tiny hotspot.Wasn't there an inside edge.

Not seen the forecast? I wouldn't expect much play tomorrow either.I don't think so. There's two days left after this and the pitch isn't going to get any easier to bat on. If England get bowled out in the next 15-20 overs just over 200 behind I think Australia will bat tomorrow until tea or something and score as quickly as possible and then give themselves four sessions to win. Rain is the key variable though, only reason for enforcing would be if you don't expect to play much on day 5.
It's not when he's only really got runs in the same amount of tests when wicketkeeping. I was certainly worried before his Perth ton by the correlation of starting to keep and not getting any runs.Haha that's such a cherry-pick.
He wasn't batting that badly really, has done very well since IMO.It's not when he's only really got runs in the same amount of tests when wicketkeeping. I was certainly worried before his Perth ton by the correlation of starting to keep and not getting any runs.
Yeah, I just can't see Australia taking 10 more wickets for under 200 runs with tired bowlers. Probably have to gamble with the rain to some degree. Not seen the forecast? I wouldn't expect much play tomorrow either.
Yeah it looks dire, can't really see anything else than a draw. If England can get themselves over the follow on Clarke is most likely going to have to make a very bold decleration to stand any chance. Not seen the forecast? I wouldn't expect much play tomorrow either.
Even the comms couldn't see the hotspot. I know most of them are old but they usually spot them. This match ought to be abandoned just on the basis of too many ****ing bad calls.
hehAndy Zaltzman @ZaltzCricket
.@Matt4153 Hot spot mark seems to be on back of the bat. Any physics boffins know if air flow from the ball could cause that?
No, it's a massive cherry-pick. He has three centuries and three fifties in his last six tests, all of them as keeper. It's not when he's only really got runs in the same amount of tests when wicketkeeping. I was certainly worried before his Perth ton by the correlation of starting to keep and not getting any runs.
Hmm, with such a thin noise I don't think you can blame an ump for missing that and that hotspot does actually look like it's on the back of the bat...
