Clearly you don't need a decent spinner to be successful. I thought the Windies established that? A good spinner will obviously help, and be a great asset. One of the aspects of a spinner is that they increase the effectiveness of the pace attack by (presumerably) causing the batsman to readjust their technique at the beginning of each over.Clearly you don't need a decent spinner to be successful.
