Could think of better leave role models for young batsmen to ape, tbh.
a michael clarke leaving the ball and getting bowled compilation would be pretty cool. where is rob!?

Was it Clarke who left one on middle half way up in a one dayer?a michael clarke leaving the ball and getting bowled compilation would be pretty cool. where is rob!?
In the 07 WC yeah. I think he advanced down the deck too... one of the odder dismissals you see.Was it Clarke who left one on middle half way up in a one dayer?
probably. watson loves it tooWas it Clarke who left one on middle half way up in a one dayer?

Mind you, the title holder for 'worst leave I've seen live' has to go to Watto's "effort" 2nd dig at Jo'burg last year.
It's as if he forgot Amla was there.Broad...sigh
Tryed to turn the ball around the corner for runs, extra bounce killed him.Haha, wtf was he trying to do there?
It's because people rate him. Same as Anderson, they both go out and play shots rather than for the batsman at the other end.Swann's batting is so frustrating; the bloke massively under-achieves IMO.
highlight of grant's career tbh
Anderson, not a great shot player from what I've seen. Swann should play shot's it his natural game, but he should be more judicious with it. He's played many decent cameos for us, word up, but should score more. It's because people rate him. Same as Anderson, they both go out and play shots rather than for the batsman at the other end.
Langer used to end up with his hands on the wrong side of his body at times, hold them up high and bring them down next to his right hip.More I think, the more I suspect it's Bell I was thinking of. Along with pretty much the rest of Bluey's batting, except that bottom-handed clip off his pads.
EDIT: Nah, Punter, I think.
Yeah indeed. There's no reason he shouldn't be able to average in the mid to high 20s but he gets out softly on a very regular basis. He shouldn't try to become a defensive player but he should certainly be a bit more selective; he seems to fall into every trap that's set for him.Anderson, not a great shot player from what I've seen. I'm guessing you meant Broad? It's because people rate him. Same as Anderson, they both go out and play shots rather than for the batsman at the other end.
