Meanwhile, in the corner, irony dies a slow and painful death....Can you leave if you lose so we don't make you cry as we take the piss?

pot and kettle ****.Meanwhile, in the corner, irony dies a slow and painful death....
I never understand this mindset.Yeah, given that they were 105 for 5 we shouldn't have let them get over 200. Looks like they'll get over 250 now.
Has there been an explanation offered, or does that wait until after the match?still can't believe the kallis dismissal
Yeah, that's a shocker. It wasn't a failure of the tech, it was the failure of the person, namely, Rod Tucker. The URDS means technology + people so any failure within the system should reflect on the whole system, despite some people saying it shouldn't.still can't believe the kallis dismissal
Yeah, absolutely. We've had a situation here whereby we had the right decision originally and then over-turned it to get the wrong one. In the past we've had a few bad UDRS calls that didn't really cost us because they just upheld the umpire's decision, and the system is massively geared towards it for that very reason, but here we've had one that actually made a negative impact on the game. It's a big deal, whether it was directly the fault of technology or not. And I say that as a pretty big technology-in-umpiring fanboy.Yeah, that's a shocker. Indeed. Same goes for Ricky Ponting I presume? And presumably Dravid can’t be in those top echelons as he had penchant for being bowled which illustrates fundamental technical deficiencies, Lara caught on the drive/move, unfortunately even great batsman have “samey” modes of dismissal. Makes it a weakness? I’m not sure; I’ve seen Kallis pull and hook his ways to hundreds, likewise Ponting.Mind you, Kallis being suspect against the short stuff, even though it was pretty rancid short stuff, helpfully illustrates why good judges don't put him in the top echelon of the great modern batsmen.
No, a difficulty with the short ball denotes lack of courage and manliness. Flinching away at what should be fairly easily dealt with half trackers isn't a great sign.Indeed. It's beyond me too. They have the "courage" to take it on, Steve Waugh didn’t.
Kallis was apparently vulnerable against the full ball, struggled against left armers and now can't short pitch bowling, how the **** this guy averages 57+ is beyond me.
Oh man Scaly is gonna love this postLol'n at Onions's performance after being left out.
Haha I know. When Finn took 3 wickets didn't someone post "Onions would have got all 10 by now" as a piss-take?Oh man Scaly is gonna love this post
