Purely speculative but just think Taylor will make the grade at test level, very happy he has been given a go.
Yeah, he surely has as good a chance as anyone of being a success in tests. In any case, it's much easier to get excited about him coming in at 6 than it is about Bopara's 3252th recall.

I take it Derek Pringle knows more about Bopara's personal reasons than some as he's slating him in a piece in the Telegraph yesterday.

I can't believe he didn't push the date back to 2005 to include the English team beating Australia in the Ashes.

I am right in assuming that he's just picked out a date at random, and nothing about Duke balls have changed over the years?

Well, the ball can't possibly have gotten heavier - 156g has always been the standard weight, regardless of brand.

Smacks of an Aussie trying to discredit anything the English do, IMO.

Morkel just bowled his usual dross and England contrived to gift him several wickets. They were pretty giving towards all the bowlers, but Morkel in particular must have thought it was Christmas come early.

To say Morne has found his 'inner mongrel' after that is pretty ridiculous.

I actually think it was a tactical comment more than anything. Morkel is widely considered to be a confidence bowler so they probably think blowing smoke up his arse will help him, whether it's deserved or not.

Good grief are you one of those supporters that will never give credit to the opposition. You do know that there are good players that dont play for England.
