Quick World ATG XI draft- No Bradman

Hey smali, is there actually a reason why you're not picking? Obviously you've entitled to use your full 12 (24?) hours if you really want, but I don't see much point in holding the whole draft up for everyone.

There is actually a reason Zaremba.....I want to take some time to think about making my next pick.

And yes the draft rules says 24 hrs :jump:

I don't mean to hassle, smali, but do you really need 24 hours to make your mind up? The purpose of having a 24 time limit is to make sure everyone has the chance to log on and post, which you've managed to do a number of times today. Surely we don't all need to take 24 hours to think about our picks? If we all did that we'd be proceeding at the rate of one pick each every 9 days, the whole draft will last 15 weeks, and although our picks would all be made with meticulous care, it would be pretty dull.

This was billed as a "Quick" draft after all.

Sorry, I don't want to start a fight here, but let's just keep it ticking over shall we?

Smali, in the time you took to make all these posts and multi-quotes, you could have easily made your pick. I feel I've made this point before, so at risk of sounding like a broken record; WAC!!

Agreed. If you're online, and it's your turn, please pick.

Nice blend of dour/reliable and destructive/flamboyant players.

The question is though - will you go for a batsman/keeper at No.6 and play the extra bowler, or go for the keeper/keeper at No.8?

Tough call, especially since I have a massive paranoid thing about Miller at 6, I absolutely hate it. He needs to be at 5 or 7 otherwise it doesn't make sense to my mind (long story). Can we pick whoever we want as a wicketkeeper?
