I'd have thought Broad would have bowled the last even though Bres usually does it, doing a good job so far mind.

I'm with you in this regard - game was fine when giving the benefit of the doubt to the batsman for more than a century

Furthermore, if a guy with umpteen replays from every conceivable angle at any number of speeds can't say that it is out, then there is obviously enough doubt to overrule

The review is not to decide if the batsman is out or not. It's to decide if the umpire has clearly made an error or not.

Therefore, in the absence of a CLEAR error, the on-field decision stands.


I don't understand why this seems such a difficult concept to grasp for so many people.:no:

Didn't see it live but watching it now on replays the bat looks a little behind the pads, especially on the slow-mo and hot spot., can't see the big deal tbh.

Best is bowling very fast - but that just means the ball goes to the boundary rope very fast too! Very erratic bowling - going at nearly 8 an over!:huh:
