During the course of my playing the game at a decent club and District representative level, I've seen a few of those beamers and can report that, looking at them from a player's perspective, they aren't much fun.

Too bad Pollard is out, but he and Dwayne Bravo have pulled WI out of a big mess. There's a more than decent opportunity to get things to a fair total.

We need a proper wicketkeeper behind the stumps.

On that subject - why doesn't Prior play ODI cricket? In tests he bats at almost 100 per 100 balls quite often so I don't understand why he doesn't play.
I've wondered this too, for quite a while, but the verdict is that Prior is a stroke player and not a fine rotator of the strike. Not sure I agree....

Remember when England decided to pick Prior for the WC on the back of winning the Ashes

I wish the SKY commentators would stop whining on about Gayle's dismissal. It says out in the scorebook - move on! :@

Prior played nearly 68 matches averaged under 25 at a S-R of about 76. Not good enough, we have plenty of options in the Wk-batsman option, let's try some, not go back to a proven failure.
