And Kent become the Unicorns' first scalp - with an over to spare.

Match-winning bowling and batting at the death from Querl, who seems to be a fixture in this side.

Yet another superb innings from Ballance this season. Game was anyone's guess when he came in and made it look easy, Yorks home by seven wickets.

Weather set to stay good for the rest of this week, so there should be some more results. 13 draws in Div 1 already, compared with 18 in the whole of last season.

****ing useless wankers. 2 run outs in the top 4 at Taunton against the Dog & Duck. ****ing morons. I'm assuming the other ****wits simply tapped the ball to a fielder in the process of such a ****ing pathetic effort at throwing away the gimme maximum batting points.

Hadn't bothered to check again after seeing where they were at lunch - reassuring to know their Lancashire trouble hasn't quite deserted them yet

haha listened to most of the day on the radio and can't really disagree with your assessment.
Somerset didn't bowl very well but most of your guys gave it away either driving in the air to fielders in the ring or attempting to pull and getting caught in the ring/on the boundary. Stokes runout was meant to be pretty special/ funny- Gave the bowler the charge and smashed it back at him, Overton(bowler) cleanly picked it up, Stokes slipped and Overton threw down the stumps.

gonna b tough for durham probably as who knows how Harmison, Plunkett( first first class game for 10 months or so for both), and Harrison(debut) go.

It's one thing Harmison not getting the new ball when Onions is playing. It's quite something to see the debutant Harrison get the gig, with GBH presumably coming on first change. How the mighty and all that.

Incidentally, how many runs does Compton need for 1000 by the end of May? He's got two innings (potentially) here and another (maybe) in the round that starts on May 30th. Chances are it'll be June by the second dig in that fixture tho.

Saw de Lange in the Northants side thinking it was Marchant, not the poor man’s Nicky Boje, Con de Lange. Hundred for Middlebrook in the very unfamiliar position of opener, has he opened before?

Dave Burton also playing for Northants, Burton’s been through more counties than I’ve had hot dinners. Gloucestershire resorting to bowling their Frenchman now, need to give Kane Williamson the ball or Hamish Marshall, only three years ago he was averaging 20 with the ball for Gloucestershire.

Yep. Pretty sure he's even tonned up there before.
