 @ Bumble talking about tattoos.
Asking Knight if he had a cheeky one on his bum cheek.

He's been very impressive so far Meaker, fast, excellent length and a good yorker.

All but over this game, as impressive Surrey have been Somerset have been pretty rank. Decent knock from Compton but needed to go on to give Somerset a real chance.

Yeah they probably needed Kieswetter to bat half the innings to have a realistic chance. I feel a bit sorry for Somerset fans who made the long journey to London, although they're seeing a few late hits. Impressed with young Ansari every time I see him as well. Took a terrific caught-and-bowled earlier. I like Spriegel too, but I think Surrey are mistaken to use him mainly in one-dayers and he may decide to seek a county that can offer him regular four-day cricket.

I just saw that Glen Querl has been playing for the Somerset Second XI. Surely he would have been a better fast bowler to play than either of the Overtons. Has a FC average of 12 with the ball, albeit in the Zimbabwe competition.

Can Somerset play him in the CC? If so, why wouldn't they?

Chucker.

Haha his action is definitely a little bit .. unusual. I'm just speculating as to why they're not picking him; I don't know the actual reason, but the fact that his action is suspect and the fact that he might be aiming for Zimbabwe selection (meaning he'd have to play as an overseas) are two possible reasons.

Liam Dawson has 7 catches at present from second slip for Hampshire in their current match - he's also keeping Briggs out of the team at present with his SLA's as Dawson seems to be doing a good job and hampshire are going with 4 other seamers.

Briggs isn't a serious test contender for England as he doesn't spin the ball (much) but I'd guess it's a bit worrying for Briggs that he can't get in the Hampshire team and Dawson seems a decent bowler and obviously offers a load more with the bat/ in the field - so Briggs may find he doesn't get all the chances he wants in four day cricket this season unless the weather improves.

Briggs will come back into the side pretty soon I would imagine, certainly by the end of the season they will be playing both of them. Think they got the balance of the side wrong for this game, really don't need that many bowlers and it showed with Hamza only bowling 5 in second innings and Griffths 8. Would have played an extra batsman although who that would be I am not so sure.

Really encouraging signs for Dawson with his bowling so far he just needs some more runs, but that goes for the rest of the side as well.

Yorkshire finally wrap the game up, Patto taking 5. Good fight shown by Leic but ultimately their first innings lets them down, good win for us much needed.

Haha, Glamorgan bottom of division 2 and they have the top 2 wickettakers in the second division. Waters and Wagg both 23 wickets @ 11.04 and 14.69 respectively.

Henriques ducked into one of Mills bouncers yesterday and managed to get bowled in the process. Mills does remind me of Mitchell Johnson. Left arm, fast and erratic but with a good bouncer when on form.

Anyone else heading to Wormsley tomorrow to see Unicorns Derbyshire?

Apparently it's a beautiful ground, but gonna be a cold one!
