Which is all well and good but Kallis isn't anywhere near as good a T20 as is made out and they've been playing RTD as a ****ing batsman.
Yes Kallis has been pretty ordinary so far this tournament, top score of 31, no way should he be a automatic pick.

It's hard for Morgan since there isn't a specialist bat for him to replace. He's not gonna replace Lee, Shakib or Narine, and he has to be a much better batsmen to replace Kallis or RTD who are all-rounder. Yes RTD is mainly playing as a batsmen, but he gives Gambhir an option incase he needs it. I'm not saying Morgan shouldn't be in the team, I'm just trying to justify why they wouldn't pick him. I'm more amazed that Shakib hasn't played more tbh. He would be the first man on the team **** if I was picking the KKR side.

I would go with Kallis, Morgan, Shakib and Narine as the overseas players for the next game. Maybe Lee for Narine if the pitch isn't a turner.

What is the greatest moment in the IPL?

McCullum's massive hundred in that first game would be my initial pick but that may have been recently supplanted by Franklin throwing his bat ten metres away. WAG.

Other IPL fans to reply, looking at you Hurricane. :)

My favourite moment was when Kumble bowled Gilchrist in the first over of the IPL 2009 final.

IPL 2009 Final: DC vs RCB - YouTube

Gilchrist played a destructive knock (was it a century?) in the semi final against very strong DD, and was carrying very good form. Kumble decides to bowl the first over. Champion faces champion. 3rd bowl of the over Gilchrist charges down and is cleaned up by Kumble. True magic moment. Hair raising stuff.

Haven't been watching much IPL since the season 2, so there may have been other great moments that I missed.

Players who will never get into the IPL

Are there any other hard working servants of the game who will not get their dues by being selected to the pinnacle of what cricket has to offer?

Every time Warne bowled to Sachin. Nothing too eventful happened but man oh man, childhood memories were flashing through my mind and had goosebumps all over.

Its probably the thing i love most about the ipl... watching legends face off... gives us contests we cant see in tests and odis. :)

Shah playing well.

Any chance of him getting back into the England set up?
T20 perhaps. If it meant no Ravi 'sub-100 strike rate' Bopara I wouldn't mind. The middle order is less of a problem though, it's more the openers that we're short. Which is a massively important position for a T20 side.
