Absolute plumb and a sensible decision not to review from Barath. Excellent follow-up delivery from Beer, in isolation nothing too startling about it, but after a big ripping off spinner that beat the outside edge by some distance, he's followed it up with one that's just gone straight on with the arm, good bowling and bang on target trapping Barath on the crease.

That would have been a good place for the 3rd umpire to step in, we saw the replay before Powell was off the field so he could have stopped him in time.

Should have reviewed it, pitched outside.
Yes if Barath chose the sensible option Powell made a mis-judgement in not reviewing. Can understand if he thought it was tight and he had been given out that a young gun would choose not to use the last review.

Not the best decision by the umpire, to start with. You can't be sure that pitched in line, hence the call should still always be Not Out!
Yes not one of Gunner's best decisions, thought it was out myself but wasn't focusing as hard as the umpire should have been in terms of where it pitched.

Yes only one review remaining probably put him off.

As poor as the umpire's decision was, I can have some measure of understanding for Powell not reviewing it. The batsman sometimes isn't exactly sure where the ball has pitched and maybe the youngster didn't want to waste a review on himself. The non-striker should have brought it to his notice.

That can back a fair way off the seam/crack.

Right mix bag so far by Pattinson.

Would have been tough for Bravo to say with any confidence that it definitely pitched outside leg from his angle.

Yes there's some jaffa's mixed in with some pretty ordinary mis-directed stuff. Looks threatening though.
Often starts his first spell a bit ordinarily for some reason.

Get used to the sight of him though. He could be anything.

Fair point. But it was a fair distance outside leg. Perhaps the non-striker could have known that with some certainty. Always a difficult punt though, especially when the man in the best position makes the wrong decision. :)
