That is embarrassing Prince, I thought that you would be all over International Test Cricket.

BTW, Jimmy Anderson has a bowling average of exactly 30.00 right now.
5th on the England wicket-taking list now. I really do love that he's going to put some air between himself and Hoggard/Harmison/Flintoff. I don't know why, but I feel a lot more affection for him than for those guys... despite how excellent they could all be at times. Perhaps it's because it seems that Jimmy gets everything he can out of his talent.

The England players really do hate Nick Knight. Is it just because he's rubbish, or did he actually say something to upset them?

Copping a bit of static in the twattersphere, is he?

Shouldn't be given international gigs, tbh. Splinters up his aris from the fence sitting.

Groundhog day afaics. Anderson a class apart, SL hardly any for 3 before Jayawardene comes in and provides a lesson in batting. Which most of our guys will completely ignore, one would guess.

And Patel as a 2nd spinner out here is nonsense, I'm afraid.

England's (read Anderson's) session, but it's funny that you absolutely know that Sri Lanka will come back from here...

Hmmmm, I think that was the kind of referral that should have been taken by the umpires straight away, like they do with run-outs and stumpings.

when did poms take over the #1 ranking, if it was after the indian series, would that make them the first #1 team to not even win a match while holding the ranking?! assuming they lose this one, some kind of record!

Patel not good enough here. I know they want it turning away from the bat (although it's hardly turning anyway) but I would much rather they went with Swann or Bres instead.

Massive ****-up isn't it? Was hoping England wouldn't be suckered into picking him, and not Monty, because of a couple of lucky wickets, looks toothless.

Edit: and of course it goes back to the bad old days of the nineties, batting collapses, drop a bowler.
